FALSE DOCTRINES !?!

False doctrines. What are these exactly? Well, to me, they are simply the vain imaginations of man (his opinions, his thoughts, his ideas). I’m sure there are a thousand debates out there as to what False Doctrines are and yet it seems a lot can be traced back to someone whose eyes were opened to a truth and instead of waiting on God to expand on that truth they took it and expanded it (even warping it) with their own imagination, thereby creating a false doctrine and even at times, a new "religion", which was then passed on from generation to generation.

We need to remain vigilant when reading and listening to others, even our elders, prophets, preachers, teachers, family, friends, etc. Because the TRUTH of the matter is that we are all man and only God can personally insure to us that something is truth. We need to always remember to bring EVERYTHING we read and hear to Him for the truth. Continually guarding our hearts and our minds. Being very careful what we speak, because if we speak something that we are not 100% sure is God’s truth, we are then the very perpetrators of giving life to false doctrine.
Mic 7:5
- "Do not trust in a friend; Do not put your confidence in a companion; Guard the doors of your mouth from her who lies in your bosom."

Phl 4:6-7 - "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

1Ti 6:20-21 - "O Timothy! Guard what was committed to your trust, avoiding the profane [and] idle babblings and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge by professing it some have strayed concerning the faith. Grace [be] with you. Amen."
In this hour, these days, we need to be vigilant. We’ve got to keep up the good fight against false doctrine, against complacency, against idols, against all the things that keep us from the Father and His love. Trying not to grow weary. And when we do become weary, we need to remember to go to the source of ALL ENERGY, the Father, and ask Him to renew and revive us. We cannot do it ourselves. Doing it ourselves is what always gets us into trouble.

Isa 40:31 - "But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew [their] strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint."

Recently, the weariness has been my experience. Both physically and spiritually. For months now, I have been physically tired because of a real physical condition and it has coincided with a weariness I’ve had spiritually. I don’t believe for one second its coincidental. I believe that the Father is showing me the correlation between the two for a learning purpose. Haha, isn’t always a learning experience? Just as being weary physically has caused me to have less patience and motivation, its also caused me to become lazy, depressed, more emotional. Similarly, the spiritual weariness has caused me to be less motivated in spending time with the Father and I began to believe God didn’t want to use me, or that He didn’t need me, or that I had nothing to offer. I was feeling useless and disconnected from God. I was spiritually depressed. I stopped going to meetings about a month ago because I thought I needed to close myself up in my "closet" and only be with God. I felt I needed to hear what He was saying, and not from all these other voices (myself, elders, preachers, teachers, family, friends). I was listening to all of these voices and not listening for His and somewhere along the way my fellowship with other believers became more important than my relationship with the Father. THAT CANNOT HAPPEN. It needed to stop. But instead of asking Him "what should I do?" and waiting for His answer, I jumped ahead to what I thought was a "good" idea. Well, isn’t it always a "good" idea. But instead of helping me, it only hurt me, because instead of getting in my "closet" and seeking Him, I became lazy and indulgent. And instead of getting to my knees to find an answer, I laid down and went to sleep. Well, I’m awake now and asking for God to help me because I can’t break out of this on my own, I need Him. All I can do right now is seek Him for answers and direction.

I truly believe that I am not the only person this has been happening with. I believe its an epidemic in the body of Christ and its members need to WAKE UP and begin to seriously and diligently seek His direction and renew their relationship with the Father so that His work can truly begin in this day! It is definitely needed! I hope and pray this gets to the person(s) who needs encouragement in this hour. Be blessed!

Isa 52:1 - "Awake, awake! Put on your strength, O Zion; Put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city! For the uncircumcised and the unclean shall no longer come to you."

Rom 13:11 - "And [do] this, knowing the time, that now [it is] high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation [is] nearer than when we [first] believed."

Eph 5:14 - "Therefore He says: "Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light."

Luke 9:32 - "But Peter and those with him were heavy with sleep; and when they were fully awake, they saw His glory and the two men who stood with Him."
